Our first consideration is your comfort and relaxation. We offer complimentary consultations to familiarize you with all of the services that Rustixx Salon & Spa has to offer. From the 30 minute service to the entire day spent with us,
we are available to help you choose what's best for you!
We would love to make your experience with us the best it can be. In order to do so please observe the following requests.
Arrival Time
Please arrive at least 5-10 minutes prior to your scheduled treatment so that you can relax, have a cup of coffee or tea and fill out any client forms necessary. Communication is vital to ensure you are as comfortable as possible. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your visit more enjoyable. Arriving late will cheat you out of precious minutes from your full treatment. Remember, your treatment will end on time to ensure that our next client is not delayed, regardless of how late you arrive. Due to tight scheduling, if you are more then 15 minutes late we have the right to refuse service.
Cell Phones
Cell phones are forbidden in the land of Body, Mind, and Soul. Should you need to have it on please turn it to vibrate mode so there is no disruption other clients in our spa.

Gift Certificates
Rustixx Salon & Spa provides the most memorable gift giving gestures. Gift Certificates are available for any dollar amount you choose!
* As of November 10, 2008 there will no longer be an expiry date on Gift Certificates.
* Gift Certificates will only be available in dollar amounts.
* Any Gift Certificates purchased before November 10, 2008 will still have the expiry date in effect as they were purchased before this new legislation was passed.
* Rustixx Salon & Spa is not responsible for lost or stolen gift certificates.
* You must have your gift certificate with you in order to redeem it.
Cancellation Policy
We try our very best to schedule your appointments when the work the best for you so please out of courtesy to our stylists & estheticians we require at least 2 hours notice when cancelling an appointment. Failure to cancel will result in a 50% charge of the service booked if this happens more than once. We do understand that things "come up". If we can fill the appointment time, you won't be billed at all. Thank you for your consideration.
FAQ's
1. Must I unclothe completely for any treatments?
Undergarments are not necessary during a body treatment or for a Brazilian wax, however, if you prefer, you may choose to wear your undergarments, a bathing suit or disposable spa panties for a body treatment. We can offer you disposable spa panties for a Brazilian wax for your initial comfort however due to the area being waxed they tend to be more of a nuisance for your esthetician. Keep in mind, our Spa Therapists are trained to drape towels and sheets discreetly, to ensure your privacy is protected at all times.
2. May I wear make-up?
You are welcome to wear make-up, however, before certain treatments it may be removed. Please feel free to freshen up after your treatment in our lavatory.
3. May I ask the Spa Therapist to adjust certain things to increase my comfort?
YES. This is your time, and you should enjoy the entire experience. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make it more pleasurable for you. (example: temperature of room, pressure during massage, pillows, blankets, music, etc.)
4. Should I alert my Spa Therapist if I have any physical ailments, disabilities or allergies?
ABSOLUTELY!!! In particular, if you have high blood pressure, diabetes, allergies (especially nuts), or are pregnant. Please notify us so that we can accommodate you in a special way.
5. Should I shave my legs before a treatment?
Please refrain from shaving your legs 24-48 hours before any spa body treatments. We want you to be as comfortable as possible and shaving may cause a burning, itchy feeling.
6. Will waxing cause my hair to grow back darker and thicker?
Absolutely not. Waxing is simply pulling the hair out from it's follicle, this simple procedure will not cause you to gain more follicles nor will it change the colour of your hair - in fact waxing will produce thinner and softer hair.
7. Does waxing hurt?
Every individual has a different pain tolerance. The initial wax tends to be the most painful as the hair is the most dense due to never having been waxed. The hair tends to grow back finer and thinner which in turn tends to hurt less.
Again, everyone has a different opinion.
8. What Are NovaLash Lash Extensions?
NovaLash Lash Extensions are a glamorous new way to extend the length and thickness of natural eyelashes, and are a practical, convenient and beautiful alternative to the daily use of mascara. Unlike decades-old, traditional false lashes, lash extensions are the first innovation in lash lengthening that can be worn daily, without nightly removal. Because each tapered, synthetic lash is bonded to a single natural lash, the final result is of effortless glamour and difficult to detect even close up.
9. How Long Do They Really Last?
When properly applied, using Platinum Bond Adhesive, NovaLash lash extensions can be worn throughout the year with minimal monthly maintenance. Touch-ups are recommended after the initial full set application to refill any lashes that have cycled out(naturally shed). To maintain the full, thick appearance of a new set of lashes a visit to your beauty/lash professional is recommended every 4 weeks based on your own natural lash growth cycle.
10. Can Lash Extensions Harm Natural Lashes?
When applied properly, lash extensions will not harm natural lashes. The NovaLash application technique allows natural lashes to grow and thrive with extensions. This technique requires several different "separation" steps during the application process so each extension is adhered to a single natural lash in order to prevent interruption of the lash growth cycle.
11. Can Mascara Be Used With Lash Extensions?
Mascara is typically not needed with lash extensions. Mascara should only be used when a touch-up is drawing near. Water-soluble mascara can be worn; however constant use of mascara may shorten the lifespan of lashes. Waterproof mascara is not recommended for use, as it will dissolve the bond with the lashes. NovaLash glycol and carbonate free mascara is specifically formulated for use on extensions without interfering with the adhesive.
12. Once Applied What Is The Proper Way To Care For Lashes?
Nightly conditioning is necessary to maximize the life of the extensions. NovaLash's nighttime conditioning/cleansing pads are perfect for cleaning the lashes free of any makeup or debris while moisturizing the lashes to maintain flexibility. Using a lash wand to comb the lashes free of tangles is also recommended. Also care must be taken to never rub your eyes. You shouldn't leave a hair salon without top of the line hair products – same with your lashes!
